SUPPORTERS
As a non-profit sporting organisation we
rely on the generosity and goodwill of many individuals,
companies, Charitable Trusts and other oganisations within
our community to support and assist the club - particularly
for non-operating and large capital expenses such as gymnastics
equipment, and as has been the case in the past year significant
restructuring and relocation expenses. HCG are very appreciative
of the fantastic support they receive from their member families,
and the gymnastics and wider community.

FACILITIES PROVIDER
In January 2009 we relocated to our current premises at Hataitai
Park, and were fortunate to receive the support of the Wellington
City Council in approving our ground lease, and the Eastern
Suburbs Sports Trust who generously purchased the premises
and made them available for our use. We are especially indebted
and grateful to Brian & Dean Galt of the Eastern Suburb
Sports Trust (Pak & Save Kilbirnie, & New
World Miramar) for their generosity and support. THANKYOU

RELOCATION & RESTRUCTURING
At the time of relocating, the club also undertook organisational
restructuring so as to create a more appropriate and sustainable
structure. Considerable time and effort was required to achieve
what was significant change for the club - but which has now
secured a bright and solid future for HCG. Thanks to the people/organisations
below for their valuable contributions.
Thanks also to all the parents, friends, gymnasts,
coaches and committee for their generous contributions of time,
skills, donation pledges, support of fundraisers, and general
interest and enthusiasm for what has been a massive, but very
worthwhile undertaking.

ONGOING SUPPORT
HCG is enormously appreciative of the ongoing support
provided by the charitable and gaming trusts below. While our
term fees cover the basic day to day operation of the gym, there
are many other necessary expenses incurred such as maintaining
and purchasing expensive gymnastics equipment, coach & judge
training, first aid training, gymnast prizes, and travel for
our competitive gymnasts. Together with our own fundraising efforts
grant money helps us to meet these other expenses, and therefore
ensure that the cost of participating in our GymSports programmes
is affordable for our member families.
